Modern Cut started with one barbershop chair and a mission: give Richmond a place where men could get a real haircut, not just a trim through a number on a clipper guard. Seven years later, we're still here — and still not using those guards.
Marcus Williams, founder and head barber, trained under classic barbers in the Shockoe Bottom tradition before opening the shop. He specializes in precision fades, skin-tight line-ups, and hot towel shaves.
